The consultation appealed to US citizens not to go to the previously federally administered tribal areas, including Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as there is a threat of terrorism and kidnapping. At the same time, citizens have been asked to avoid going to areas along the Line of Control due to terrorism and possible armed conflict. However, at the same time, the Foreign Ministry said that the security environment in Pakistan has improved compared to 2014.
