The California state legislature honored Sushant Singh Rajput’s contribution to Indian cinema. Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh became emotional while accepting the citation on behalf of Kirti Rajput.
Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti accepted the citation on behalf of Rajput. She lives in America. It is noteworthy that Rajput had expressed his desire to work in Hollywood many times. Indian community leader Ajay Bhutoria handed over the citation to Rajput’s family on behalf of the California state assembly. The initiative to honor Rajput was initiated by California Assembly Member Kensen Chu. Shweta said, “It is a great honor for me to accept this on behalf of Bhai from the California Legislative Assembly, remembering his philanthropic works and contributions to Indian cinema.” He said, ‘I thank the members of the Legislative Assembly and the Indian community for supporting me in this time of crisis.’

What did Sushant’s brother-in-law sayHer husband Vishal Kirti said that the state of California has honored Rajput’s contribution to Indian cinema and community on the great occasion of India’s Independence Day. Kirti said, “Millions of Indians are watching the process of the ongoing campaign to bring justice to American Sushant”.
